// GEO · AI Search Optimization

Get cited by the AI engines people actually use.

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews all decide what to quote on their own logic. We optimize for it, track citations weekly, and ship the changes that move the needle.

// what GEO actually involves

The work behind getting cited.

GEO is not "SEO with a new acronym." The signals that move AI citations overlap with classic SEO on the basics, then diverge sharply on structure, entity disambiguation, and what the LLM finds quotable.

Where you get quoted, by engine and query
We run your tracked queries through each AI engine every week. When your domain appears as a citation, it logs which engine, which query, which page, and what passage was quoted.

Which queries trigger AIO, and who gets cited
For every keyword you rank for, we'll know whether Google shows an AI Overview on it and which sources are inside. Per-query AIO presence + citation tracking rolls out via the DataForSEO SERP feed in Q3 2026 — included in the standard $200/mo plan.

The four stages of getting quoted.

Most "AI SEO" advice skips straight to "write better content." The real path is more mechanical.

Step 01

Access

The crawler reaches the page. Robots, llms.txt, and CDN rules all decide this. Block one engine by accident and you vanish from its index for months.

Step 02

Parse

The page is converted to clean text. JavaScript-heavy renders fail here. Schema and semantic HTML give the parser structure it can trust.

Step 03

Retrieve

At query time, the engine searches its index for passages that match the user's question. Self-contained passages with clear claims win.

Step 04

Cite

The engine picks 2 to 6 sources. Entity clarity, recency, and author signals tip which sources make the final cut.

The piece most agencies miss: every stage compounds. A page that fails parsing never gets retrieved. A page that gets retrieved but has weak entity signals gets ranked lower in the citation list. We work all four stages every week, on every page that has citation potential.
