// the brief

What is CarSnipe, and what did the site need?

CarSnipe is a desktop browser extension that monitors Facebook Marketplace for used-car deals and pushes Telegram alerts within ~3 minutes — built for buyers who want a speed advantage over slower competitors. Two paid plans, a 7-day free trial, no credit card required. The audience is serious buyers willing to pay for the speed edge.

SaaS marketing sites have a specific SEO shape: a small marketing surface (homepage, pricing, features, blog) that has to rank for high-intent product queries while also feeding AI engines clean answers about "what is X" and "X vs alternative". When we onboarded the domain, the technical layer needed work — Core Web Vitals, schema, GEO-shaped passages, and the kind of cross-linked SaaS content that engines can actually parse.

// the work

What did we ship, and in what order?

01
SoftwareApplication + Product schema, sitewide. JSON-LD on every page that markets the product, with plan pricing, free-trial flag, and platform set. AggregateRating where rating data is real; we don't fake it when it isn't. This is what AI engines pull when they answer "what does CarSnipe cost".
02
Core Web Vitals work. Current mobile LCP 2.102s, CLS 0.029. Marketing-site performance matters because every ad-click and Search visit lands here before they ever see the extension. Slow pages bleed conversions.
03
GEO optimization for SaaS queries. Rewrote feature and pricing copy into passage-level shapes: one-sentence definition of what the product does, one paragraph of context, one bulleted list of specifics. These are the shapes ChatGPT and Perplexity lift when someone asks for a comparison or a recommendation.
04
Competitor comparison pages. "CarSnipe vs Swoopa" and similar high-intent comparison pages — built only where there's actually a buying decision being made. Every comparison page links to the buying CTA above the fold.
05
IndexNow on publish. 119 URLs pushed to Bing + Yandex over the engagement. Bing typically indexes within 24h while Google's crawl scheduler takes 5–9 days — that's real referral traffic we don't have to wait on Google for.

27 weeks in, where does it stand?

544 recommendations have shipped since Mar 2026, and the Health Score now reads B. These numbers are pulled live from our recommendation tracker, Search Console, and PageSpeed Insights. The engagement is young and the Search Console window is shallow, so we'll add organic-traffic deltas to this page as the window grows.

SaaS SEO is mostly about being the answer a buyer's research process lands on. Schema, passage-level copy, and weekly hygiene do that work.
